Overview

The RS-Ruby Plus is an upgraded 128-beam LiDAR customized for L4 autonomous vehicle commercial operations. It delivers a super detection range of 240 m at 10% reflectivity under 100,000 Lux sunlight, a 20% improvement over its predecessor. With 0.1° × 0.1° angular resolution in high-performance mode and a point rate of 4,608,000 pts/s (single return), the RS-Ruby Plus provides the dense, high-fidelity 3D perception needed for safe L4 operation. The new modular architecture reduces size and weight by 50% compared to the previous RS-Ruby generation. Power consumption drops to 30 W (33% lower than RS-Ruby), and the sensor has passed dozens of automotive-grade reliability tests including mechanical shock, random vibration, low-temperature operation, high-pressure water impact, and EMC.
